If you’re finding life hard to cope with right now, I want you to know this: you’re not expected to hold it all together on your own. At Body & Mind in Union, we’re here to offer you a calm, steady space where you can slow down, breathe, and just be—exactly as you are.
When things feel overwhelming, it’s easy to feel off‑balance, drained, or disconnected from yourself and the people around you. Whatever you’re feeling—confused, numb, anxious, unsure—it’s completely valid.
Maybe you’re looking for someone who will really listen without judgement to help you make sense of what your going through. Perhaps you’re curious about whether somatic practices could help you feel more grounded and settled in your body again. Whatever you need, we’ll walk alongside you and figure things out together. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Our approach is gentle, compassionate, and centred entirely around you. We’ll move at your pace, exploring what helps you feel steadier and more supported. Little by little, we’ll work together to help you reconnect with yourself, find a sense of balance again, and start nurturing your emotional and mental wellbeing in a way that feels right for where you are now.

I'm Janine a qualified therapeutic counsellor, yoga teacher and Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner in training. I discovered my passion for yoga over 20 years ago and my practice supported me through some challenging difficult periods of grief ,loss, trauma and anxiety. It is an introspective journey of self discovery which continues to guide me, providing me with practical tools to cultivate a deeper sense of wellbeing psychologically and physiologically.
Eager to share the benefits of this practice, I began training in 2014 with British Wheel of Yoga to become a Yoga Teacher. I am passionate about empowering you to find your path and create your own toolkit to support you through adversity.
This passion led me to train as a counsellor believing that everyone deserves to reach their full potential. Leaning into a Person Centred approach to therapy as founded by Carl Rogers I found it aligned with the values and principles I learned through ancient yoga philosophies.
